UK mom who had sex with boy, 14, says he lied about his age

 


A UK mom who had sex with a 14yr old boy told her trial that the schoolboy only admitted his age after leaving bed — saying she was “angry” at him for pretending to be older than he was.

“I don’t deny we had sex,” 32-year-old mother of three Teah Vincent told Gloucester Crown Court on Wednesday of the boy she invited into her home after watching him and a pal play soccer, according to a court report in the Sun.

“I didn’t force him, he happily responded on his own accord,” she told the hearing of the boy who told investigators that she suddenly appeared naked and mounted him when he had just expected to play video games.

“I’m sure he told me he was 16 and I felt he looked much older,” she told the court, referring to the legal age of consent in the UK.

“It didn’t occur to me that he might be underage. He definitely didn’t tell me he was … only 14 before we had sex,” she said, according to the court report.

Vincent admitted that she invited the two boys into her home after seeing them play soccer nearby, claiming they only did so because they were “interested” in becoming friends with her.

She has denied a charge of knowingly having sex with a child under the age of 16 in the ongoing trial.

Akufo-Addo sworn in as Ghana’s President for second term.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been sworn into office for a second four-year term as President of the Republic of Ghana. The Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah conducted the swearing-in, taking him through the required oaths . Taking the presidential oath of office and oath of allegiance, Nana Akufo Addo said: “I will be faithful and true to the Republic of Ghana. I will at all times preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of Ghana.” Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has also been sworn in as Vice President of Ghana for a second term.

Director of research at the Presidency, Victor Newman dead

A founding member of New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the current Director of Research at the Presidency, Victor Newman, has died after a short illness. A source close to the family said he died today (10 December) at the Legon Hospital in Accra after a short illness. Victor Newman was appointed as the director of research at the Presidency in 2017. Prior to his appointment, he worked at the Economic Research and Planning Services of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Western Castings Limited, and the Ghana Exim Economic Consultants.
