Kotoka airport staff arrested for stealing 10 mobile phones



A staff of the Kotoka International Airport, Accra has been arrested for stealing from the luggage of travellers.

The shamefaced staff was reportedly busted for stealing a number of electronic gadgets from travellers by security personnel. 

It was further learnt that the airport worker who was nabbed with 10 mobile phones, was handcuffed and taken to the Airport Police station for further questioning.

 The presidential candidate of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Dr. Henry Lartey, says John Dramani Mahama’s decision to challenge the outcome of the 2020 polls in court will prove futile.  Speaking to Star FM News, the flagbearer for GCPP, said the National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama   clearly  lost the presidential race to the incumbent, President Akufo-Addo. “You’ve lost the election, he shouldn’t go to court; it’s a waste of money,” he said.  Dr Henry Lartey who doubles as the Secretary-General for the West African Association of Political Parties also maintained the NDC flagbearer is just acting under pressure.  He said he  believed that Mahama is being pressurised by some elements in the NDC to continuously reject the outcome of the elections.
