Fire Guts Portions of Odawna Market



A dawn fire at the Odawna market near the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra has destroyed goods worth thousands of Ghana cedis.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 1 am on Wednesday, November 17, 2020. 

The raging flames spread fast since fire service personnel were unable to enter the market. The fire has since been brought under control.
