Asante Kotoko Brazilian Import Arrives in Ghana
Kumasi Asante Kotoko new acquisition Fabio Gama has arrived in Ghana. The 28 year old Brazilian touched down on Monday November 16, 2020 at exactly 15:15 hrs GMT aboard Tap Portugal.
Gama joins the Porcupine Warriors on a free transfer, having been without a club since parting ways with Swedish second-tier outfit Jonkoping Sodra in March.
A former Brazil youth star, having represented the South American nation at U17 and U20 level, and is expected to bolster Kotoko’s squad as they embark on their African expedition in the CAF Champions League.
The midfielder came with his wife and son, and was met on arrival by the Chief Executive Officer of the club Nana Yaw Amponsah at the Kotoka International Airport on Monday morning.
The Brazilian was supposed to arrive in Ghana on Monday morning, but missed an earlier flight from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.
However, the management of the club booked another flight for him and he arrived on Monday evening.
