Asamoah Gyan makes a return to the Ghana Premier League after 17 years

Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan marked his return to the Ghana Premier League for the first time in 17 years after a second half appearance for Legon Cities in their goalless drawn game with Medeama SC.

The 35 year old joined the Royals in October after a successful career abroad.

Gyan entered the game in the Match Week 3 encounter around the 70th minute.

It marked the first time Gyan played in a premier league game since 2003 when he left the scene for Udinese in Italy.
